Paul Cook 

Recently elected as a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts in London, Paul is a Certified Teacher of the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music and was awarded the status with the highest classification of Excellent. He graduated with a first class honours degree in Education and passed the Diploma of the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music in Vocal Teaching with Distinction. 

Educated at Chetham’s, Paul won a scholarship to study at the RNCM at seventeen and subsequently worked as a session singer with the BBC and with various opera companies at home and abroad which included five years at Scottish Opera. Paul has diplomas in piano and pipe organ performance, piano teaching, singing, music theory and composition. He is currently preparing to take the Estill Certificate in Figure Proficiency and is studying for an MA in Vocal Pedagogy. 

Paul is the author of fifty ‘Pete the Bee Stories', ‘Bedolorrog the Bog Frog’, 'Silly Stories About Vegetables' and ‘Will and His Dog’ which are sold by all major online retailers globally.

Paul currently combines his work as a teacher, musician and dad - not necessarily in that order, and lives with his wife and eight year old son Matthew in South Wales in the UK.
Current projects as an author include completing a series of books about the natural world with an educational narrative to follow on from his book ‘Bedolorrog the Bog Frog’. 

His interests, in the little free time he has, include fooling around with his young son, spending time with his wife and trading on the stock markets. Copyright © Pete the Bee 2021
